Tom is an experienced orchestra director, private teacher, and professional artist specializing in high string instruments.  Classically trained as a violist, he also he extensive performance experience in the styles of bluegrass, jazz, and rock.  His teaching philosophy is based in student centered learning and developing well-rounded musicianship.  His main instrument is a five-string violin.
